Antonio, a FIDE chess master and chess instructor, besides a
Mathematics teacher. A wonderful person, totally devoted to chess.
He taught me to play for the initiative!
Barbara, she's married to Ivan and has a lovely toddler,
Sebastiano. They live close to us in Venice, and we
spend lots of time together. One day we'll have a long vacation
in the mountains, the six of us...
Bonnie, a graphic designer and naif painter, but also a
chessplayer and charming woman. Her paintings are mysteriously
fascinating. Visit
her web site and see for yourself!
Checchi, an old friend of mine, now works for the Comune di Venezia
but he's still a challenging tennis and soccer player.
Christel, another good friend of mine in Bruxelles; she's a lawyer.
Cri, a Japanese interpreter, works in Venice but always says
she'd like to get the hell out! She's a very old and good friend
of mine.
Francesco, a very old and good friend, lives in Rome with Daniela.
Among other things he's the organizer of the
Massenzio.
FraVia, a disassembling expert, chess addict, and Martini sipper.
He's planted his roots in Bruxelles with wife and three lovely children, but
you can oftentimes find him in Venice.
Giusy, an Astrophysicist who works for a Microelectronics firm in
Catania. I met her at the most perfectly marvelous week-long conference
I've ever attended, in the la Biodola bay at the Isola d'Elba, off the
coast of Tuscany in Italy. She has a great
motorcycle and rides it in a Harley outfit. Remarkable.
Izzo, I don't know him very well but he's someone you should
talk to. He works in Munich for ROSAT, the X-RAY satellite. You can also
find his (delirant :-) opinions in soc.culture.italian.
Jennifer, a charming Chinese-American that now lives in Milano.
I met at a SLAC summer school, and we've been great friends ever since.
Luca, a physicist and chess addict like me, plus a better tennis player.
He works as a system administrator and therefore could easily find more time
for a chess game with me on ICC if he tried, damnit!
Meggi, a clone of Massimo Cacciari apparently, but much more sympa.
He works at CEE in Bruxelles.
Nicola, a PhD in HEP like me; he's really a kind person
and I'm sorry I don't see him frequently. He lives in Milano.
Piotr, a telecom employee, tennis player, and fierce arguer
on political issues. He's married with Elena and has a 7-months old
daughter, Emma.
Tosella, a nice student in Architecture in Venice, I've known her
on the net at the beginning.
